Cultural Connections in the Park: Gina Brooks, Maliseet

Gina Brooks, Maliseet, will be hosting a moose hair embroidery and birchbark etching demonstration in Acadia National Park. Gina is one of few artists still practicing moose hair embroidery, a unique northeastern woodland art form utilizing thick moose hair tufts to produce vibrant and intricate designs. Gina will be on hand to guide visitors through her process and answer any questions.

The Cultural Connections in the Park series occurs every Wednesday from late June through September.
