Join us for a unique opportunity to meet Nipmuck flute maker and musician, Hawk Henries. As a musical artist, Hawk serenades with his gift of music and stories, playing a variety of flutes and sharing his perspectives about life. His warm, thoughtful presence literally fills the room as he creates a calming yet engaging, contemplative space, maintaining a note of humor. His music reflects his belief that we each have the capacity to make a change in the world.

He has three original CD's, First Flight, Keeping the Fire, and Voices. He is also featured on the compilation CD Tribal Winds. His music has been used in a variety of films and documentaries, some of which won or were nominated for Emmy awards.

Hawk’s performance will be from 11 am-12 pm and his demonstration will be at 1-2 pm. All are welcome and the price is included with admission. Have a question about the event? Contact us at educator@abbemuseum.org.
