Woodland Motifs are often used by contemporary Native artists to adorn their clothing, beadwork, and handiworks. Come spend lunch at the Abbe Museum and learn about the symbols, styles, and patterns commonly found in Woodland craft and dress. Our Curator of Education, Starr Kelly, will share her experiences as a beadworker, as well as the history of this rich tradition. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!
