Halloween is one of our favorite holidays here at the Abbe. This year, we're hosting a celebration for kids and families at our downtown location that's complete with yummy snacks, pumpkin painting and other crafts, a Halloween scavenger hunt, and of course face painting. If you come in your costume you'll even receive a special prize!

As an institution that supports Wabanaki voices and perspectives, we kindly ask you not to arrive in culturally appropriated costumes. If you have any questions or wish to learn more about the issue of costumes and cultural appropriation, please read this article. Our goal is to make our museum spaces welcoming and safe for all visitors.
