Learn about the delicate art of Mi’kmaq porcupine quill embroidery. In this Cultural Connections live demonstration, you will hear about the different kinds of stitching and the reason behind the traditional and historic use of porcupine quills to decorate boxes, chairs, placemats, and clothing. Join in the interactive Q&A session with Jennifer and engage your sense of wonder with the provided samples of Mi’kmaq artistry to touch!
