We look forward to seeing you at this year's Virtual Annual Meeting on September 17th at 5 pm (EST). Following a presentation on our 2019 Annual Report, we will be joined by Geo Soctomah Neptune, Passamaquoddy, for their program entitled - Reclaiming the Space Between: Two-Spirit History and Resurgence on Turtle Island and in the Dawnland

About the Program:
Throughout history, Two-Spirit people have played integral roles within their societies, whose roles were seen as serving necessary and crucial functions of the community. Passamaquoddy storyteller and historian Geo Soctomah Neptune will give a history of Two-Spirit traditions, and how the erasure of these practices has contributed to the colonization of Wabanaki peoples and other nations indigenous to Turtle Island.

This is a virtual meeting that will be hosted on Zoom, and is free and open to the public. You can connect to the webinar on our Facebook page, YouTube Page, or the Zoom link through the button below. If you have any questions email events@abbemuseum.org.
