Raised Beadwork Class

We are happy to announce an opportunity for visitors to learn about raised beadwork and its legacy in Northeastern Indigenous communities. The Abbe’s Curator of Education, Starr Kelly, from Kitigan Zibi First Nation, will be hosting a class on beading basics and the technique of raised beadwork. We'll have examples from our collection on hand as well as some of Starr’s pieces. 

Supplies will be provided. Registration required, space limited. The cost of this class is $15 members, $20 non-members. Sign up for membership and get the member price!
