The Changemakers is an initiative to engage people with the mission of the Abbe Museum, igniting activism and philanthropy.

As a vehicle for social change, support for the Abbe Museum is a way to have a direct impact in your community. And with the work of museums across the country being threatened, now more than ever it is important to become involved. As a Changemaker you will join a network of passionate people. A group of everyday activists that believe education and awareness are key to a better world. Changemakers support the mission of the Museum all while unlocking exclusive opportunities for engagement. Whether that means learning about the Wabanaki language through a placenames tour or participating in Q&As with visiting artists, there is a wealth of opportunity for exploration.

If you’re looking to connect with like-minded people, are interested in having fun while making a difference, and want to have insider access to cultural events in your area, please consider becoming a Changemaker today!

I can honestly say that without the Abbe Museum and the projects I have worked with them on, I would probably not be where I am today, as an artist.
