Directions
Follow Rte. 3 from Ellsworth onto Mount Desert Island. Continue on Rte. 3 to downtown Bar Harbor. The museum is located at 26 Mount Desert Street (Route 3) across from the Bar Harbor Village Green. Free on-street and municipal parking available near the museum.

The Abbe Museum at Sieur de Monts Spring in Acadia National Park is now Closed for 2009.

Directions
(from Bar Harbor)
Follow Route 3 through Bar Harbor, and head south toward Otter Creek. Turn right at the Sieur de Monts entrance to Acadia National Park, just after the Jackson Lab. Follow the signs to the Nature Center, Wild Gardens of Acadia and the Abbe. From the Park Loop Road, exit at Sieur de Monts.
Park in the Sieur de Monts parking lot and follow the path behind the Nature Center up the hill to the Museum.
