To ensure that you and others enjoy visiting the museums, please observe the following guidelines:
• Pets are not allowed in the museums (except for service animals).
• If you are carrying a cell phone or pager, please turn it off or set it on a quiet mode. Please make calls only while outside the museums.
• Photography and video/audio taping may be limited inside the museum. Please observe any posted limits, and do not use a flash. Media permission may be obtained in advance by calling the museum at (207) 288-3519.
• Please observe the no-smoking rule inside the museums and while enjoying the outdoor spaces.
• Please wear shirts and shoes at all times.
• No umbrellas, large bags, backpacks or backpack baby carriers are allowed in the galleries. These objects may be left at the Admissions Desk during your visit.
