Rick has co-curated two contemporary art exhibits at the Abbe, and is an accomplished pen and ink artist. The lunch lecture series concludes with Theresa Secord, Penobscot, and Director of the Maine Indian Basketmakers Alliance. Theresa will highlight the enduring legacies that continue in Wabanaki families from the era explored in Indians and Rusticators.
This will be the third talk in our annual winter series, connected with our blockbuster exhibit Indians & Rusticators: Wabanaki and Summer Visitors on Mount Desert Island, 1840s -1920s.
