The Abbe Museum welcomes educators, and provides a unique resource for teaching about Maine’s Native American cultures, history and archaeology. To make these resources more accessible, the Abbe Museum Shop offers a 10% discount to teachers and school librarians.
To take advantage of this discount, just show your school ID at checkout. We can also complete orders via phone or email if you cannot make it to Bar Harbor. If you are purchasing materials for a school, non-profit or other eligible organization, please bring your tax exemption number and documentation.
The Abbe Museum also offers workshops and public programs that teachers might find helpful.
