Rebecca MacQuinn studied pastels at the Robert Montgomery Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, FL, and continues to take workshops and painting trips as time allows. She has also studied with Karen Bastadas at the Lighthouse Gallery School of Art and with Rebecca Cuming. Her work has shown in galleries in NEH, SWH, Bar Harbor, Wiscasset, and Damariscotta.
“Until 2005 I had lived most of my life on MDI and have been privileged to observe the impressive change of seasons and the natural beauty of the Island. I am creative by nature and have always been taken with color. I have tried every different medium. I have decorated boxes, mirrors, and trays with decoupage, acrylic paints, gold leaf, and papers.”
