Lisa Hall

Seaglass and Sterling Choker

17”; natural seaglass from local beaches

This piece, designed specifically for the Abbe Gala, is inspired by the double curve insignia of the Micmac.

Lisa Hall has created two jewelry collections out of her Northeast Harbor studio. Her Renaissance Collection was inspired by her time living and studying in Florence, Italy. Her Seaglass Collection was inspired by her time on the coast of Maine and was featured in Martha Stewart Living. An excerpt of the accompanying article can be read on her website, along with the following biography:

“Lisa Hall received her Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in Italian Renaissance art history, advanced painting, and sculpture. She studied jewelry-making in Florence, Italy, where she began to design and produce custom jewelry in 1989. A resident of coastal Maine’s Mount Desert Island, she enjoys running her gallery and studio in the village of Northeast Harbor.”
