Hog Bay Pottery

Set of 4, 9”
Hog Bay Pottery is a gallery in Franklin, Maine operated by husband and wife team, Charlie and Susan Grosjean. All pottery is hand thrown and fired. The gallery operates two kilns, one gas, and another wood-burning that Charlie Grosjean built with his father, family, and friends in 2003, and fired for the first time in 2004. This more traditional method requires more time, fuel and manpower, but produces unique and varied pieces, and the Grosjeans fire it twice throughout the year. In addition, the gallery features Susan Grosjean’s all-natural hand-dyed and hand-woven wool rugs, and their pottery has also been showcased in Martha Stewart Living.
