Internships at the Abbe
abbe museum
Rachel Robinson shows off her summer internship project.

As a small non-profit organization, the Abbe Museum offers a limited number of volunteer internships for high school and college students.

Based on their academic training, interests and the availability of projects, interns work in one of the museum's departments:
• Collections
• Education
• Exhibition Design
• Development

For many projects, a background in anthropology, archaeology, Native American art, history or photography is helpful, but not required.

All internships are volunteer, unpaid and are available only during the school year on a part-time basis. Positions vary according to departmental needs.

Housing is the responsibility of the intern.
