"I have been painting on Mount Desert Island for the past 15 years. Recently I opened a business to organize outdoor art workshops. I would love to help you with your next trip to Maine! My favorite thing is to combine hiking with art. My recent retirement from 35 years of emergency nursing has allowed me to pursue the adventure of painting outdoors. I am fortunate to have lived on Mount Desert Island for most of my life and am grateful to have the time to appreciate it’s beauty. Many of my paintings are done on top of a mountain or sitting on a rock along the shore of Acadia National Park. Each painting includes a description of the location that I painted from so that you can appreciate the moment that I captured in watercolor!”
