"While working with dichroic glass jewelry, I became intrigued with the idea of making a collage with some of the glass pieces. My idea was to create a curved image using the angular pieces of glass. We are all part of the circle of life.”
Marcy MacKinnon was born in July of 1947 in Massachusetts. She received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. She has exhibited at Owings-Dewey Fine at in Santa Fe, Deson-Zaks Gallery in Chicago, and Gump’s Gallery in San Francisco, among others.
