Gretchen's Table

Mary Dohna Bacon & Kim Pepper

paddle art

"Faux Bois" cement, 21" high x 15" wide

Mary and Kim have been working in the "faux bois" style for may years. They started with garden planters and bird baths, progressing to tables, benches and lamps. The inspiration for their "natural curiosities" comes from the beautiful woods of Maine. These pieces are hand sculpted and finished by age old, labor-intensive methods.  Mary and Kim live with their families in Somesville where they have a studio.

This table is sculpted by hand over a steel armature. It is suitable for inside or protected outside use.
